Built from a three-minute fight Athena had with her older brother when she was nine, Chunky Monkey is an evening-length group piece. Each dancer embodies a different person — or inanimate object — from the fight, and each gets their own chunky monkey dance.
Friends choreograph sections. The result is part wrestling match, part family album, part fever dream.
